Dragon World: Trains Across China

Growing up near the Beijing North Station, my most cherished childhood memories were filled with the constant coming and going of trains. Years later, to fulfill that lifelong railway dream, I picked up a camera to photograph trains, which eventually led me down the path of photography.

Through my lens, these long trains resemble soaring dragons, shuttling day and night across the vast landscapes of China. As time and geography shift, so do their brilliant colors—now wandering through peaceful fields, now gleaming amidst urban landscapes, now climbing majestic snow-capped plateaus, and now journeying across roaring rivers and boundless seas. They weave together the stunning scenery of all directions, capturing timeless beauty within a square frame. There is always more beauty to behold, and never enough trains to capture.

Though I am still a sapling in the world of photography, humbly aware of my developing skills, I remain dedicated to capturing the most vivid moments of these "iron dragons" through relentless effort. In celebration of getLocationYear(), I proudly present this photography series dedicated to the majestic dragons of China. I sincerely look forward to the guidance and critique of seniors and peers alike.
